Big Head 04:27
We’ve been through all the trouble that the world likes to throw in our way made it through the depression in our lives and we live for today I think I’ll hit the big time it could be any day you know we’ll get what we want, I think that we should put it on show I know you want me, that counts for something I know you want me, something for nothing I promise I won’t let my head get in the way I know you want me, that counts for something I know you love me, something for nothing I promise I’ll try to keep all my demons at bay once we’re done with the world we can stop and put it away in the meantime I’ll bring the bread to the table with the millions I make something for nothing - nothing is something I know you love me - I will just shove it shove all my demons - push all my evils away I know you’re nothing - something for nothing nothing is something - you know I’m something won’t let my big head - big head won’t get in the way when they take my picture I will try not to let it show really there’s no difference between pride and ego they’ll see what I achieved and respect my integrity hate to think that inside I’d be saying won’t you look at me I know you love me, I know you love me something for nothing - you know I’m something I know you love me - big head won’t get in the way

Will you – won’t you – see me again? There’s one thing you should know my friend I am one person you should never doubt there is something new spinning in and out If you seem to see me in the scattered light there is one thing you will do with all your might if you see me feeling in the scattered light there is something you would do if you could fight you come up with meticulous plans and you say that you don’t fan the fire in my reptilian sky there’s one thing that you will do with your knife There’s one thing you should be if you should climb in my tree There’s something to debate what to do when there’s nothing to hate There’s one thing you should do if you find the diamond glue there’s one thing left to debate one time to operate there’s one thing I should do when your wicked plan is through everything that we operate there’s no time left to debate

Did I do it for a while? It’s something to do with my line. It’s a rule to come and see. There’s something left inside of me. Ahhhhh. I don’t mind. Whatever you do is fine. I will always be there for you, think I need this something to do. I will always be inside, for something matters and it’s alright I will always be afraid, there’s something there that you left to say I will be until something tells me what to do I will always be ok, there’s something there that I wanted to say

Gullible Boy 05:04
I see you every night I’m overcome by fright and I wonder if I’m moving ahead again and I wonder if I should run away but I stay and I feel uncouth I try to see the truth but I’m just a fool I’ll do anything for you I want to be emancipated from all the things you say I want to be forever free to run astray but I’m not the one I’m just your gullible boy you’re the one who makes me scream

The Fear 05:32
If you were to be something I can see if you were to know in solemness til you learn to be, you will never be free if you were to see inside of me if you were to know then we could agree if you were to see, it won’t happen again I don’t ever want, you to see, you to see me like I don’t ever want you to see me like that again I don’t ever want, ever want you to see me again if you were to know something true about me, if you grow to see I don’t ever want you to see me like that again if you were to go in denial if you were to see something you can tell if you were to go, I don’t want you to know I don’t ever want, you to see, you to see me like I don’t ever want you to see me like that again I don’t ever want, ever want you to see me again (x2) if you were to want something out of me if you were to say something else to me I don’t ever think you should see me again if you were to say something new to me if you were to be something beautiful I don’t ever think you should see me again I don’t ever want, you to see, you to see me like I don’t ever want you to see me like that again I don’t ever want, ever want you to see me again (x2) there’s something new to fear you say to me It’s something you should fear it’s in the fear I don’t ever want, you to see, you to see me like I don’t ever want you to see me like that again I don’t ever want, ever want you to see me again

about

Work began on Reptilian Sky in 2018, shortly after the recording sessions for Nightmares from Far Away. It was originally going to be a 6 track album but we kept adding songs and making the project way harder than it could have been.
In late 2020 we felt we were ready to take these songs to the studio, and ended up getting them recorded at Studio Intensify with Andrew Fitzpatrick on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th January 2021.
Tim "Bones" Fogarty came round on the 9th and took some videos, which we made into a clip for an alternate take of Gullible Boy. You can view that here:

Mixing was taken care of by yours truly (Adam), and it only took me A YEAR to complete.
The album cover was created lovingly by the Gibbins men (Henri, Nelson and Martin).
Sculpture photos by Mariah Reed, graphic design by Nelson Gibbins.
This album was written and performed by Adam Bloom (bass, vocals, lyrics), and Henri Gibbins (drums, vocals, part lyrics for "Back of My Mind").
Thanks for your support and love over the years. Enjoy!
